About Us
Welcome to Wood Signs of Gatlinburg! We are a small,
family owned and operated wood sign company located at 715 Parkway in Gatlinburg, Tennessee,
a small resort town known as the “Gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park” with
over 10 million visitors annually which prides itself on its rich mountain heritage.
Our sign business was founded in 1971 by Cal and Linda Jones, school teachers from North Carolina.
The business is now operated by their daughters Suzannah and Sarah Jones with a great crew of dedicated
employees that we like to call family. We have been in business at the same location in Gatlinburg
since 1971 making us the oldest carved, wood sign shop in the city. We also have lumber storage,
pattern cutting and shipping facilities at a different location. We are a member in good standing
with the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.
We make hand crafted, custom, personalized wooden signs from quality wood species. All of our wood
signs are hand crafted individually as they are ordered using only the finest Western Cedar, Eastern
Red Cedar, Mahogany and California Redwood (upon availability). All woods are cut from managed, sustainable
forests.
We take great pride in our custom, hand crafted wood work and strive to continue making quality wood
